Terms of Use — Happy Journal

By creating an account or using Happy Journal you agree to these terms.

1. Your content is yours. You keep all rights to the notes, photos, and lists you create. You give us only the permission needed to store them, sync them to your devices, and, if you make a list public, show that list to people who have its link.
2. Public lists. When you make a Happy List public you are choosing to publish it. Do not include content you do not have the right to share, other people's private information, or anything unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit. We may remove public lists that break these rules.
3. Your account. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
4. Acceptable use. Do not attempt to access other people's data, disrupt the service, or use automated tools to scrape it.
5. The service is provided as is. We work hard to keep your data safe and available, but the app is offered without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, which for a free app is nothing.
6. Advertising. The app is free and supported by banner ads. Ads are clearly labelled and are not targeted using your data.
7. Ending things. You can delete your account at any time from Profile. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
8. Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on the support page with a new effective date.
